Lovely Steadfast

The story of our artwork begins before our time, dating back to the 1970s when a small group of people decided to dedicate their lives to Christ by serving each other in a shared life together.
As part of this life, we have a unique blessing, as we share not only our resources and finances but also skills and knowledge that are readily made available and passed on from one generation to the next.
In the case of our artistic development, its roots stem back three generations to our very founders. It is to them we owe our success as it has been through exposure to their work that has given us access to the vast variety of art and knowledge which has contributed to our development, effectively allowing us to build on what they accomplished.
We believe that part of God's plan and purpose for each of us is to continue this pattern of growth by creating opportunities for our future generations, as a part of providing a balanced environment in which to flourish.
As a group of friends, family, and Artists, we enjoy working together and learning from each other to develop our skills. We don’t seek individual recognition for our work but rather seek to enrich the lives of all those around us.
Living in Aotearoa we see the hand of God in the beauty around us and seek to glorify him in the variety of artworks we produce.

About our work
We create a range of art including Canvas paintings and Charcoal drawings.
For our Texture/Resin pieces:
We have developed several techniques to create a unique style of artwork. For some pieces, we apply a thick-bodied acrylic product from Paint Plus, that allows amazing texture opportunities. We will then paint the scene in acrylics and pour resin over part of the work to complete the added dimensional effect.
