Irina Sizova

I was born in Khabarovsk, Russia and moved to New Zealand with my family when I was 6 years old. I grew up and studied in Auckland, completing my Master's Degree in Architecture, before eventually moving to Christurch to work on the Earthquake repair program in 2014. This is where I met my wonderful partner Nico, and since then, together we have set up our own Architectural practice. I can now balance my time between Architecture, painting, and adventuring with my family. I love to explore New Zealand, particularly the South Island, and really experience the unique characteristics of each place. I want to try to capture those experienced sensations through my paintings.
