Dot Moulton

I am passionate about clay and it’s possibilities, and potential.
I discovered clay in the 1970s, and was immediately hooked.
After mastering the intricacies of wheel throwing, I made domestic ware, but as a side hussle I was enthralled by making large coil pieces, which I Raku Fired.
Ten years on, we relocated, and ceramics took a back seat.
After a 30 year hiatus, I rediscovered clay, and am loving making hand work, coils, pinching, slab work, and find that satisfies and challenges my creativity!
I love the extremes asthetically, from tiny and simple, to large and rugged, so variation is abundant.
My passion for clay never wains, and it’s extra special when my work gives others pleasure.
